Big Brother is Away, Baby Lane will Play!

I absolutely love the 30 minutes I spend alone with Lane after Noah goes down for his nap, before Lane takes his afternoon nap.  I usually let Lane play with whatever he wants as when Noah is awake he is constantly being told every toy he picks up is a chocking hazard... even a 2ft long Fire Truck!  This picture is priceless... it is some butterfly nets from a preschool game Noah left out.  Lane couldn't have been happier putting them on and off his head!  Love that crazy kid.

Noah's Preschool Christmas Party

Had to post this simple but so sweet prayer Noah's preschool class says every day befor snack!  I LOVE IT!  Also they sang a bunch of Christmas Songs from the whole class... pretty funny stuff... Noah won't be starring on a broadway show anytime soon.

Snow Day Fun!

Check out poor Lane looking longingly out the window wishing he could play in the snow!  Even Diesel gets to play out in the snow! Noah really enjoyed shoveling the driveway (yes he is our notorious little helper) and sledding with Daddy.  Daddy took a snow day to spend the day playing outside with Noah and Diesel.  Like I always say, I really have 4 children not 2.

Lane's first haircut...

Typical Sunday evening haircuts at the Schaeperkoetter's until Seth informs me that Lane needs a haircut as well.  This is just after I tell him that we should let Noah's hair grow out!  You know to keep him warmer in the winter:)  Lets just say he is no longer a red head and if there was any wonder who he belonged to thier are no more questions...

Attempting to be a blogger...

Well as you all know I am not a "techy" person, but I do sure like to make my thoughts and feelings heard loud an clear!  So what better way than thru a blog about my boys: Seth, Diesel, Noah and Lane (in birthdate order and introduction to my life of course)!  Wish me luck in this new endeavour to track and monitor the changes and growth of my blessed family:)

Evan's First Photo Shoot!

Took the easy way out this year and opted out of a Christmas Card.  Instead I had planned to do a Happy New Year card to introduce Evan!  Below is the photo shoot we took at home for the card... the pictures tell the story like you were right there with us!

 Evan starts out very content and happy... almost cooperative!

 I think this photo almost looks professional despite the fact that the white cushion is a rug from my bathroom floor and the silver bucket is our party cooler!

 When big brother was in charge all were still happy...

 Lane wanted in on the Evan action so we decided to switch to keep him from poking Evan's eyes out...

Starts out okay... Gotta love Noah's large and in charge grin in this shot...

 Lane soon gets distracted an forgets he is holding a 6 day old baby...

Big Brother is back in charge and Evan is content again...

 I just couldn't let it end on a good note... had to have a few more shots in another position.. Lane was not happy...

Hid some candy behind Evan but too little too late... Evan was DONE!

Evan's Announcemnt Photo Shoot

I took the easy way out this year and skipped doing Christmas Cards in lue of a Happy New Year card that announced Evan's birth... here are the photo's I took myself (not bad if I do say so myself) at home for the card!  The boys were a trip during this process:)

Just becuase I just didn't feel like I had enough shots I hid some candy behind Evan which made Lane happy but unfortunately it was too late as now Evan is officially done!  That was a day!
