Lane's 1st Bday Party! Lions, Tigers and Bears Oh My!

Baby Lane had his 1st Birthday Party yesterday!  Dug right into the cake, but didn't actually eat too much of it;)  He was a trooper and was a really good birthday boy.  This past year has been the fastest year of my life for sure.  Happy Birthday to my baby~!

Field Trip #1- Magic House

Went to the traveling exhibit "Builder Bob" on Friday with our friend's Carol, Anna and Jamie.  All the kiddos had a blast... fun tractors to ride on, tons of building blocks and more things to fix than you have time for!  Quote of the day was when I would call one of the girls names (our friends are identical twins of course) and Noah would say "Oh Mom, that's Anna not Jamie".  Cracks me up how he can always tell them apart and is correcting me all the time.

Lanes 2 top teeth are FINALLY broken through!  Boy do I love the look of those new teeth, makes him look like such a big boy.  He is reminding me so much of Noah at this age (in his looks, not actions I should clarify) with those cheeks!  He is getting into EVERYTHING and EVERYWHERE!  His favorite activity is going up and down the stairs.  Now if I could just get him to walk on his own he'd be off and running!

Noahs 1st Dentist Appointment: HUGE SUCCESS~!

Noah and I went to the Dentist this morning and to say the least I had been dreading it!  I just had no idea how he would react.  Thank goodness for "Bearenstein Bears go to the Dentist" as when we got there he told me he was going first and hoped right up in the chair.  Laid there, opened his mouth wide and did the whole thing like an old pro!  The hygienist asked me if I was sure he had never been to the dentist before and of course I said "Oh no he's always this good"!  Right! Ha!  What a bid day for my little man!  So proud of him:)
